Teal Currents - handmade glass lampwork long beaded necklace. 135 glass lampwork beads knotted together in a dreamy blend of Hydrangeas and Summertime Island Cove swimming.
Details - 43 inch long strand which hangs to 20 inches or so. Each bead is lightly faceted for a unique ooak textured finish. The strand is completely hand knotted and the closure also doubles as a focal, making this necklace convertible wear and versatile.
The glass I melted for you in this design is a hand blended mix of blue, plum, teal, and hyacinth, from my stock of glass sourced from the glass masters of Italy. Each bead is unique yet perfectly coordinated, the strand is substantial to hold yet not too heavy as I use coe 104 glass called soft glass, as opposed to borosilicate.
