The Beautiful Details - Long, Opera strand, wraps around twice. 54 inches of my handmade lampwork art glass beads made one at a time over a hot torch flame and knotted into an elegant rope strand that hangs to 27 inches or so. Each bead is lightly faceted for a unique one of a kind signature textured finish. The strand is completely hand knotted. The signature facets make this a one of a kind exact artist identifiable heirloom art glass piece and the technique used in creation of the glass beads dates back to the Vikings and beyond to the ancient Egyptians.
The glass I melted for you in this design is sourced from Italy. The strand contains fine .999 silver droplets and rubino oro glass that has been enhanced with gold to bring out the beautiful rose pink color.
