Olive Raku Rustica - handmade glass lampwork beaded necklace in antiqued raku, Italian olive crystal, and mocha.
The Beautiful Details - 24 inches of my handmade lampwork art glass beads knotted into an elegant rope strand that hangs to 12 inches or so, the perfect size to fit over most head sizes and lay just below the collarbone. Each bead is lightly faceted for a unique one of a kind signature textured finish. The strand is completely hand knotted and the closure also doubles as a focal, making this necklace convertible wear and versatile. The signature facets make this a one of a kind exact artist identifiable heirloom art glass piece and the technique used in creation of the glass beads dates back to the Vikings and beyond to the ancient Egyptians.
The glass I melted for you in this design is sourced from Italy and Germany and several of the beads throughout the strand are antiqued for a rustic matte look and feel.

Lay Flat, preferably in a jewelry folder like a pearl necklace. This will keep your necklace pristine. I use hemp instead of cotton knots for a bit stronger hold and less stretching.
